Facial Balancing in Sherman Oaks, CA

Facial Balancing is a customized treatment plan built for natural-looking proportions, focusing on facial harmonization by looking at a patient’s entire facial profile instead of one area or feature. Certified and experienced Providers treat the Patient’s full face conservatively, so no one area looks overdone or out of scale. This approach to injectables is the difference between chasing symptoms and treating the actual cause of facial disproportions.

The plan can combine Botox, fillers, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella, matched to the Patient’s goals, individual facial anatomy, and skin. Dermal fillers do not inherently cause an overfilled look. Methodical filler placement and assessment of a patient’s whole face is how this signature program is planned. We achieve natural-looking results when filler is used to support your features rather than changing them.

Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa provides on-site, physician-led care. Dr. Sherly Soleiman, MD, board-certified physician and founder and medical director of Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa, practices full time in Sherman Oaks and supervises all treatments.

What Is Facial Balancing?

Facial Balancing is a signature program at our Medical Spa for nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures. It is a whole-face combination plan, not a single syringe, not a single product, and not a single treatment area booked on its own.

The intent of the plan is proportion. Providers look at how the patient’s features sit together, then decide which procedures belong in the plan. The goal is a natural-looking result in which the treated features remain in proportion with the rest of the face.

Patients often come in asking for one area, such as the lips, the cheeks, or the jawline. Treating one area without considering the rest of the face may create an unbalanced result for some Patients. The plan begins by assessing how the features sit together. The full face is assessed first. Product type, amount, and placement come after that mapping, matched to the Patient’s goals, facial contour, and skin.

Dermal fillers do not inherently cause an abnormal or overfilled look. With correct understanding of product rheology, technique, and artistic vision, faces can be made to look slimmer, lifted, and rejuvenated. When a neuromodulator is part of the plan, it is customized and placed so the result is not a frozen appearance.

Many procedures are labeled as “bad” because of poor outcomes in the wrong hands- short term or long term.  However, whether it’s fillers, Morpheus8, Sculptra, or laser procedures, these are actually excellent procedures for facial enhancement when performed correctly by experienced providers.  Understanding how different procedures will behave weeks or months later makes all the difference in planning a journey of aesthetic progress. Intensity, depth, placement, and preparation all make a difference..

During consultation, Patient goals, facial contour, and skin presentation are evaluated along with budget and timeframe expectations. A Provider then builds a shared plan, which can be delivered in one visit or staged over a year or more. Patients specifically travel to our Medical Spa for this program.

What Concerns Can Facial Balancing Address?

Facial Balancing may be considered when more than one feature affects the Patient’s overall facial proportion. The plan is customized, and not every patient needs treatment in multiple areas.

Depending on the Patient’s assessment, a plan may address:

  • Features that appear out of proportion with the rest of the face
  • Facial asymmetry that may be improved with nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures
  • Chin or jawline projection that affects the facial profile
  • Age-related volume loss in the cheeks, temples, or other facial areas
  • Under-eye hollows or a tired appearance
  • A facial expression that appears angry, tired, or sad
  • Loss of facial volume associated with GLP-1 medication
  • A Patient’s concern about looking overfilled when treating one feature in isolation

Facial Balancing does not mean every listed area will be treated. A Provider evaluates which features affect proportion and recommends only the procedures that fit the Patient’s goals and anatomy.

What Concerns Can Be Addressed By Facial Balancing - Sherman Oaks Medical Spa

Facial Balancing Benefits

Facial Balancing at Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa is planned by Providers for natural-looking proportion across the whole facial profile. Patients choose this signature program when they want conservative results that still look like them, not one feature treated in isolation.

  • A methodical approach to injectables using a whole-face plan instead of treating one area alone, so features stay in proportion.
  • Natural-looking results planned to avoid an overdone appearance, so the face still looks like you.
  • The plan may be one visit or staged, paced to your goals, facial contour, skin, budget, and timeframe.
  • Patients specifically travel to our Medical Spa for this signature program.
  • The treating clinician can combine Botox, fillers, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella in one plan instead of treating each concern as a separate, disconnected visit.

Individual results vary. All procedures carry potential side effects, which your Provider will review with you.

What Results to Expect:

  • A more balanced front and side profile: Whole-face proportion, so features sit in scale with each other rather than one area looking out of scale.
  • A less angry, tired, or sad look: This is a treatment goal, not a guaranteed outcome.
  • Conservative, natural-looking results: The plan is built so the face does not look overdone, and filler is used to support your features rather than change them.
  • You still look like you: Other people may notice you look rested or refreshed, not that one feature was treated.
  • Smoother transitions between features: Cheeks, chin, jawline, and lips are planned so they sit together, not as separate add-ons.
  • A result the Patient is comfortable with: Comfort with the look can be an endpoint, including a staged plan that stops when the Patient is satisfied.

How Long Does It Last?

How long the result lasts varies by the procedures in the plan. For a combination Facial Balancing plan, typical duration is 1 to 3 years. This is not a Botox-only timeline. The look is layered. Botox in the plan is usually refreshed sooner. Firmer structural filler in areas such as the jawline, chin, and cheeks often lasts longer than filler in the lips or under-eyes.

If Sculptra, threads, or Kybella are included, those parts of the plan can last longer than Botox, and they do not share one maintenance schedule. Your Provider will map refresh timing to the procedures in your plan.

Individual results vary. All procedures carry potential side effects, which your Provider will review with you.

Facial Balancing Cost & Financing Structure

Facial Balancing at Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa starts at $700, priced by treatment plan rather than as a single product.

This service can be a combination of procedures, so Botox may be billed per unit, fillers and Sculptra per syringe, and threads and Kybella priced as those procedures are billed, all rolled into one plan. Final cost depends on which procedures are included, how much product each procedure needs, the number of areas treated, whether the plan is one visit or staged, the product selected, and the Patient’s personalized plan, which a Provider confirms at consultation before treatment begins.

What affects your cost

  • Which procedures are included? The treatment plan may include Botox, fillers, Sculptra, threads, or Kybella. The decided upon combination treatment changes the plan total.
  • How much product each procedure needs. Unit, syringe, and Kybella amounts differ for every patient, which changes the plan total.
  • Number of areas. Treating more areas uses more product than treating fewer areas in the same plan.
  • One visit or a treatment plan requiring multiple visits. Some Patients complete the plan in one appointment, while others map out treatment over multiple sessions. This changes how the plan is billed since our filler, threads, and Botox, have a tiered pricing structure, offering more savings when receiving multiple syringes in one visit.
  • Product selected. Your Provider will discuss which products suit your goals within the treatment plan.

Payment and insurance: Most insurance companies do not cover cosmetic procedures. Our Medical Spa offers a variety of payment options for convenience, including financing through Care Credit, Alle Pay, and Cherry Pay. Explore our finanicing options and monthly specials.

Consultations: Consultations with our talented and experienced Master Nurse Injectors are complimentary. Consultations with Dr. Sherly Soleiman carry a fee, which is waived when a procedure is performed.

How Facial Balancing Works

Facial Balancing at Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa in Sherman Oaks has three phases: preparation, the in-office procedure, and aftercare. Providers working within this physician-led care model evaluate goals, facial contour, skin, budget, and timeframe at consultation, then build a plan that may be one visit or staged over a year or more. Dr. Soleiman supervises this process. Patients visit the Sherman Oaks location from Encino, Studio City, Tarzana, and surrounding San Fernando Valley communities.

One Appointment or a Staged Facial Balancing Plan?

Some plans may be completed in one visit. Other plans may be staged over several visits or over a year or more. The recommended pace depends on the procedures included, the Patient’s goals, facial contour, skin, budget, timeframe, and response to earlier treatment.

A staged plan may allow the Provider to:

  • Prioritize the areas that affect proportion most
  • Begin conservatively and reassess before adding more treatment
  • Allow swelling or early changes to settle before evaluating the next step
  • Account for procedures that develop gradually, including Sculptra
  • Coordinate the plan around the Patient’s budget and important events
  • Work with the patient’s budget

Typical number of visits is 1 to 2 for injectables such as Botox and filler, 2 to 3 for Kybella, and 3 if lasers, microneedling, or Morpheus8 are also planned. Sometimes 1 session is enough if budget is not a constraint and the plan is filler only.

Recommended time between staged visits: Depending on the procedure of choice, the time between sessions may vary.  Example is 3 months between repeated Botox visits, 6 weeks between Sculptra and Kybella visits, and 1-2 years between repeat filler visits in the same area.  New filler, Botox, Sculptra, or Kybella areas can be added at any time.

Filler in areas like chin, jawline, cheeks, undereyes, and lips can all be done at the same time. If a patient is not satisfied with the results, we have them wait 2 weeks for the filler to settle/swelling to go down and then they can come back and we’ll reassess.  Botox we wait 2 weeks for it to kick in, and then reassess after 2 weeks if they’re not happy with results.

Everything else we wait 4-8 weeks.

Your Provider will explain whether one visit or a staged plan fits your goals during consultation.

Before & Preparation

Discuss your goals so the plan matches your priorities. During consultation, your Provider will also:

  • Review your medical history with you
  • Discuss whether you are a good candidate for Facial Balancing
  • Tell you what to expect during and after your procedure
  • Create an itemized treatment plan following your budget

A Good Faith Exam and consultation are completed before treatment.

Catherine Nurse Inspecting Patient For Facial Balancing At Sherman Oaks Medical Spa

Instructions to follow before treatment:

  • Tell your Provider if you are taking any medications or supplements that may increase bleeding. These include anti-inflammatory pain medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen, fish oils, blood thinners, alcohol, and caffeine. Blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and caffeine can make patients more prone to bruising and can cause more bleeding during the appointment.
  • Vaccines and dental work should not be scheduled for 2 weeks before filler. Vaccines and dental work are fine before other treatments in the plan.
  • Say if you are pregnant or nursing, and if you have a history of severe allergies or cold sores.
  • Working out before the appointment is okay.
  • Staying hydrated is helpful but not medically required. If PRP, PRF, or EZ Gel is also planned, hydrating before the visit can make it easier to draw blood or find a vein.
  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks before lasers, microneedling, Morpheus8, or peels. After Botox and filler, sun exposure is okay if you wear sunscreen.
  • Smoking can thin the blood, similar to blood-thinning medications. It is not necessarily a reason we would turn a patient away. Avoid smoking for 1 to 2 weeks after lip filler, because it can cause the filler to move. Avoid straws for the same reason.
  • Do not withhold medical history, medications, or supplements.
Catherine Nurse Performing Procedure For Facial Balancing At Sherman Oaks Medical Spa

During the Procedure

  • The treating clinician assesses the whole face, not one area in isolation.
  • The plan may include Botox, fillers, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella. Not every procedure is used at every visit.
  • You review and sign consent, and the plan is confirmed before treatment begins.
  • Treatment areas are cleansed, then the planned procedures are performed with a needle or cannula.
  • Comfort measures may include rounded-tip cannulas, the smallest needles, topical numbing, cold compresses, vibration devices, nitrous gas, and nerve blocks, chosen for the procedures in that visit.
  • Visit length is usually 30 minutes to 1 hour. Facial Balancing is not a single-syringe filler visit. If Morpheus8 is also planned, a visit can rarely last about 2 hours, with about half of that time spent on numbing and washing the face.

Aftercare & Recovery

Recovery depends on the procedures performed that day. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions and a way to contact our team if you have questions. If swelling or bruising is expected, plan a brief period of rest before traveling. If swelling occurs, an ice pack may be used on the swollen area as directed.

Keep any suggested follow-up appointments so your Provider can check your progress and decide whether more treatment is appropriate.

  • Blood-thinning medications: Avoid blood-thinning medications for 5 days before treatment. This includes herbal medications, fish oils, ginkgo biloba, aspirin, anti-inflammatory pain medications such as Aleve, ibuprofen, and Advil, as well as caffeine and alcohol, to reduce the risk of bruising.
  • Exercise and sweating: Avoid for 4 hours after Botox. As filler is settling, limit activity that causes strenuous facial movement for 3 days to 1 week after treatment. Working out may cause swelling to worsen for a short time. After barbed threads, avoid working out for at least 2 weeks.
  • Makeup: If your skin is not sensitive, makeup after Botox is okay. Avoid makeup for 24 hours after dermal filler. Wait 3 days after microneedling or Morpheus8. We recommend skipping makeup while the skin is still red and inflamed. Wait until puncture sites are closed to reduce the risk of infection. A zinc-based sunscreen can create a barrier between your skin and makeup.
  • Facials and facial massage: Avoid for 2 weeks after filler or threads. Avoid anything that requires lying flat for 4 hours after Botox. After Botox, also avoid microneedling/Morpheus8 for 2 weeks.
  • Microneedling or Morpheus8: If microneedling or Morpheus8 is planned, use a physical zinc oxide sunblock, SPF 30 or higher, for 24 to 48 hours after treatment to help reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. Cleanse only with water or a gentle cleanser. Avoid skincare with harsh active ingredients, such as AHA/BHA, scrubs, and retinols, for 3 days after treatment. Wait up to 1 week before exfoliating.
Guidance To Patient After Facial Balancing Procedure
  • Lasers: No laser treatment for 6 months after Accutane. No sun or sunless tanning for 3 weeks before and after treatment. No antibiotics, iron, Retin-A, or other photosensitizing medications for 2 weeks before your visit. No skin-sensitizing procedures such as peels, resurfacing, dermabrasion, or RF microneedling such as Morpheus8 for at least 3 weeks before your visit. Wait 14 days after filler injections before having laser procedures for vascular and pigment concerns in the same area.
  • Dermal filler: No dental work or vaccines for 2 weeks before and after treatment. Avoid pressure on the treated areas, including sleeping on your face, tightly fitted glasses, resting your face on your hands, and facials or facial massage. Avoid straws, smoking, and kissing for the first 1 to 2 weeks after lip filler, because the filler has not yet settled into the tissue.

Correction options, including hyaluronidase when hyaluronic acid filler was used, are reviewed at follow-up.

Follow-Up, Adjustments, and Reversibility

Follow-up timing depends on the procedures included in the plan. Some changes can be assessed soon after treatment, while other procedures need more time before the result can be evaluated.

Recommended follow-up timing: 2 weeks

At follow-up, the Provider may review:

  • How the treated areas sit in proportion with the rest of the face
  • Whether swelling or tenderness has settled as expected
  • Whether the treatment plan should continue
  • Whether any refinement is appropriate
  • Whether the Patient has concerns that need examination

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved more quickly with Hylenex or Vitrase. Botox, Sculptra, threads, and other procedures in the plan cannot be dissolved in the same way. Those results are not permanent and will wear off over time. If Botox causes a droopy eyelid or brow, our Providers can usually correct this in the office with additional Botox or Upneeq eye drops, usually at no charge.

Contact our Medspa if you have questions or concerns after treatment rather than waiting for a scheduled follow-up.

Start Facial Balancing at Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa in Sherman Oaks with a physician-led consultation that maps your whole-face plan.

Facial Balancing Treatment Areas

This whole-face approach is not usually a single-area procedure. Providers assess the entire profile of a patient and treat the areas that affect proportion. Not every patient is treated in every area. You don’t always need to treat the area that’s bothering you to see improvement in your front or side profile.

Facial Balancing Treatment Areas - Sherman Oaks Medical Spa

The plan may address the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, under-eye hollows, temples, and forehead or frown lines. When a neuromodulator is part of the plan, crow’s feet and other movement lines may be included. When Kybella is part of the plan, submental fullness under the chin may be included. When threads are part of the plan, the eyebrows, cheeks, and neck may be included. The treating clinician chooses among these areas based on how they affect facial proportion, not from a fixed checklist.

Sherman Oaks and San Fernando Valley Patients often notice change in more than one part of the face. Facial Balancing keeps the plan tied to that mapping, so only the areas that affect proportion are treated.

Am I a Good Candidate for Facial Balancing?

Patients who consider Facial Balancing often want to look less angry, tired, or sad, or they come in for beautification, for maintenance, or because they want a conservative plan that does not look overdone. Volume loss related to GLP-1 medication, which can leave the face looking hollow, is another reason Patients come in. Women ages 45-75 are a common patient group, but Facial Balancing is not limited to that group, and men may also be evaluated. Providers review your history before recommending any nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures.

The ideal candidate:

  • Wants conservative, natural-looking results, not an overdone look
  • Is seeking non-surgical or non-permanent aesthetic treatment
  • Is looking to improve facial symmetry or facial harmony
  • Wants a more defined side profile or lower face
  • Wants a systematic and methodical approach that evaluates their whole face, whether in one visit or future planned appointments
  • May be addressing volume loss related to GLP-1 medication
  • May be looking to treat the cause of facial aging: volume loss and shifting structure.
  • Age minimum: 18 (enquire directly if you do not meet this age requirement)
  • Severe allergies, autoimmune deficiencies, pregnancy and breastfeeding, or other exclusions may apply
  • A Good Faith Exam is completed to confirm the Patient is a safe candidate, because each treatment in the plan carries its own risks
  • Not everyone is a candidate

Individual results vary. All procedures carry potential side effects, which your Provider will review with you.

How Facial Balancing Compares

Facial Balancing vs. Single-Area Treatment

A single-area procedure focuses on one concern, such as lip volume, cheek volume, chin projection, or movement lines. Facial Balancing begins with how multiple features sit together, then builds a plan around overall proportion.

Facial Balancing
Assessment
Reviews the full face and how features relate to each other
Plan
May combine more than one procedure type
Treatment areas
May involve several areas when they affect proportion
Timing
May be one visit or staged
Best fit
Patients whose concern involves overall facial proportion
Single-Area Treatment
Assessment
Focuses primarily on one selected area
Plan
Usually centers on one procedure or concern
Treatment areas
Usually limited to the area booked
Timing
Often planned as a focused appointment
Best fit
Patients whose concern is limited to one area and does not require a whole-face plan

A single-area treatment is not automatically the wrong approach. Our Providers recommend the most natural-looking plan that fits the Patient’s individual anatomy and budget. Patients who want to focus on one area, or who are new to filler, are welcome to stay with one area. If you ask, our Providers will share their professional opinion on facial anatomy and balance. The final plan follows the areas the patient is comfortable treating.

Facial Balancing vs. Liquid Facelift

Facial Balancing is the signature program at Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa. It is a whole-face combination plan that may include several nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedure types, including Botox, dermal fillers, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella. A Provider evaluates the Patient’s goals, facial contour, skin, budget, and timeframe, then builds a shared plan that may be completed in one visit or staged.

Liquid Facelift on this site is a filler-based rejuvenation approach. It is not the Facial Balancing program.

Patients comparing Facial Balancing vs. Liquid Facelift are comparing a whole-face plan that may combine several procedure types with a filler-based approach. The treating clinician will confirm which option fits at consultation.

What Facial Balancing Cannot Do

What Facial Balancing Cannot Do - Sherman Oaks Medical Spa

Facial Balancing is a nonsurgical plan. It cannot guarantee perfect symmetry, stop the aging process, or create one fixed result for every patient.

It is not intended to:

  • Guarantee a perfectly symmetrical face
  • Make every feature follow one mathematical ratio
  • Produce permanent results
  • Remove significant excess skin
  • Replace a surgical facelift
  • Guarantee that every Patient will need several procedures or treatment areas

A Provider may recommend a smaller plan, a staged plan, a different nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedure, or no treatment. The recommendation depends on the Patient’s assessment and goals.

Facial Balancing Side Effects & Risks

Facial Balancing can combine a neuromodulator, hyaluronic acid filler, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella. Those products do not share one risk profile. Using more than one in the same plan can mean the Patient faces the risks of each. Not every plan uses every product. A Provider reviews the risks that belong to the procedures chosen for you.

  • Bruising, swelling, redness, and tenderness: Injection sites can bruise, swell, turn red, and feel tender for up to 2 weeks after treatment. This will subside as the filler settles and integrates into the tissue.
  • Uneven result: Features can look temporarily uneven due to swelling, or the Patient may not like the result. Corrections can be made after 2 weeks.
  • Eyelid heaviness or an uneven brow: A neuromodulator can cause temporary heaviness in an eyelid or an uneven brow. Our Providers can usually address this with additional Botox or Upneeq eye drops, usually at no charge.
  • Filler lumps or movement: Hyaluronic acid filler can leave lumps or move from the placement site if proper aftercare is not followed. Vascular occlusion is a rare medical emergency and can be treated on-site immediately. When correction is appropriate, hyaluronic acid filler may be dissolved with Hylenex. Corrections can be made after 2 weeks.
  • Sculptra nodules: Sculptra can cause nodules that appear later, not only on the day of treatment.
  • Thread swelling and bruising: Threads can cause swelling and bruising in the treated area, which generally diminish within 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Thread dimpling: Threads can cause dimpling, where the thread tethers too tightly or the skin is thin. Dimpling is usually temporary and resolves in weeks. Our Providers can work the area to reduce it if it is bothersome. Follow aftercare instructions to minimize risk.

Facial Balancing Side Effects And Risks
  • Thread extrusion: A smooth PDO thread can extrude as the body tries to push it out. Once the thread is removed, there is usually no other aftereffect. Contact our office for corrections if necessary.
  • Kybella swelling, numbness, and nerve injury: Kybella can cause swelling and numbness in the treated area for 1-2 weeks post injection. Nerve injury in that area is a risk.
  • Infection: Infection is uncommon but possible after injection. Our Providers can evaluate and treat with antibiotics if indicated.

Swelling and lumps are common after filler, threads, and Kybella for 2 to 4 weeks. Some effects last longer. Your Provider will review the risks that belong to your plan.

When to Contact Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa

  • Small white or clear vesicles that may look like cold sores

Facial Balancing FAQs

What is facial balancing?

Facial Balancing is a customized whole-face plan that may combine more than one nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedure. The combination is selected around the Patient’s facial contour, goals, budget, and timeframe.

How long does facial balancing last?

Duration varies according to the procedures included. For a combination Facial Balancing plan, typical duration is 1 to 3 years. This is not a Botox-only timeline. Individual results vary. All procedures carry potential side effects, which your Provider will review with you..

How much does facial balancing cost?

Our prices are competitive. Final cost is confirmed at consultation based on the procedures, products, and treatment areas selected.

What is the difference between facial balancing and fillers?

Hyaluronic acid filler is one tool for volume. Facial Balancing is a combination plan, not filler alone. It may include filler plus a neuromodulator, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella, selected for the Patient’s facial contour and goals.

Is facial balancing the same as a liquid facelift?

No. Facial Balancing is not the same as a liquid facelift. It is a combination plan of nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures that may include a neuromodulator, hyaluronic acid filler, Sculptra, threads, and Kybella.

Is facial balancing painful?

Comfort varies according to the procedures included. Options may include topical numbing, injectable lidocaine, a Zimmer cryo machine, ice packs, handheld fans, music, and a TV in the room.

Who is a good candidate for facial balancing?

A good candidate wants conservative, natural-looking results and is open to either one visit or a staged plan. Final candidacy is determined during consultation.

Can facial balancing replace a facelift?

No. Cosmetic Injectables Center Medspa is nonsurgical only. Facial Balancing is not a surgical facelift. It is a combination of nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures planned around the Patient’s goals.

Does facial balancing look natural?

The plan is designed for conservative, natural-looking results that remain in proportion with the Patient’s other features.

How many syringes do you need for facial balancing?

There is no standard syringe count because the service is not a set filler package. Typical product amounts are about 1-3 syringes in younger individuals, and 2-8 syringes in those older than 50.

Will I need more than one Facial Balancing appointment?

Some plans are completed in one visit, while others are staged. Typical number of visits:1-4 sessions

Can Facial Balancing be adjusted or reversed?

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved more quickly with Hylenex. Botox, Sculptra, and threads cannot be dissolved the same way, but those results wear off over time. A droopy eyelid or brow from Botox can usually be corrected in the office with more Botox or Upneeq, usually at no charge.

How far before a wedding or important event should I schedule Facial Balancing?

Timing depends on whether you want full results by the event, or to be healed from treatment. Schedule at least 1 month ahead, and allow more time if you have never had treatment and do not yet know how you will respond. Kybella and threads: 3 months, because they take time to work. Filler: 2 weeks if you are familiar with it, 4 weeks if you have never had it, so it can settle and be reassessed. If lasers, microneedling, or a peel are also planned: 1 month, or 3 months if 3 sessions are needed to see results.

Can Facial Balancing improve facial asymmetry?

The plan may improve certain differences in facial proportion, but it cannot guarantee perfect symmetry.

What if I only need one area treated?

Patients who want to focus on one area, or who are new to filler, are welcome to stay with one area. Our Providers recommend the most natural-looking plan that fits your anatomy and budget, and will share their professional opinion on facial balance if you ask.
