Juvederm Volux Sherman Oaks

No filler on the market creates results as firm and cohesive as the newest addition to Juvederm’s family of fillers, Volux.

Although its FDA approval for the improvement of jawline definition was received in 2022, Juvederm Volux has been highly popular and widely used in the United Kingdom since 2019. Volux can also be used off-label to lift and contour various areas in the lower face.

What is Volux?

Volux is the first and only dermal filler with FDA approval to enhance jawline definition and treat volume loss in the jawline and lower chin region. This brand-new filler is excellent for its bone-like appearance and creating a well-defined jawline and a perfectly rounded chin.

Juvederm Volux Benefits

Volux corrects volume loss in a way no other filler can! With twice the lifting capacity of Voluma and three times the cohesivity, Volux mimics bone-like material making it uniquely ideal for use in the lower chin and jawline.

What Results to Expect

This fantastic new filler is the latest in the Juvederm family of fillers to utilize Vycross technology to provide even more structure, cohesivity, and lifting capacity than any other filler in production today. Volux is an ideal option for anyone looking to create that perfectly chiseled jawline, correct jowls, and achieve a well-balanced profile.

How Long Will Results Last?

Juvederm Volux empirically lasts over two years depending on the treatment area and the metabolism of the individual being treated. However, FDA studies were terminated at one year to get the product released into the market, so actual studies on its absolute longevity still need to be done.

How Volux Works

Female Patient Preparing For Volux Treatment

Before & Preparation

Avoid dental work or vaccinations for two weeks before your appointment. Come into the office with a clean face, preferably with your hair pulled back with a tie or headband.

Aftercare & Recovery

After your Volux appointment, you will be given aftercare instructions from our friendly front desk staff. Generally, it’s a good idea not to apply any pressure in the area of treatment for 3-7 days to avoid moving the product (i.e., sleeping on it). Other than possible bruising, mild tenderness, or swelling, no downtime is associated with this procedure, and you can go about your day immediately following your treatment. Please book any follow-up appointments two weeks after your treatment to allow time for any swelling and bruising to subside so that the final placement of the filler can be accurately assessed.

Downtime

There is no practical downtime associated with the Volux filler treatment, although there may be some “social” downtime due to mild bruising or swelling.

Practitioner Assessing Female Patient

Am I a Good Candidate?

Individuals over the age of 18 who are looking to enhance the appearance of their lower chin and jawline may be excellent candidates for Volux. We suggest avoiding treatment if you are allergic to the ingredients in the product, pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any active auto-immune disorders or infections. For a more sharp and chiseled jawline, Volux is hands down the best dermal filler on the market today!

Similar & Related Procedures

The second thickest and most dense filler in the Juvederm family of fillers is Juvederm Voluma, which is typically used to enhance the appearance and improve volume loss in the cheek and chin areas. It can also be used off-label in other areas of the face for enhancement or firmness.

Volux FAQs

What is Juvederm Volux?

Volux is the newest and most robust hyaluronic acid-based filler in the Juvederm family of dermal fillers. It touts a higher lifting capacity than all other fillers, lasting up to twenty-four months clinically, and is notable for its bone-like appearance, making it uniquely suitable for enhancing the lower chin and jawline.

What is Volux used for?

Juvederm Volux has FDA approval for enhancing the appearance of the lower chin and jawline. It is sometimes used off-label in the midface region for its lifting capacity. Volux adds a bone-like structure to the chin and jawline, leaving the area appearing chiseled and well-defined.

Is Volux the same as Voluma?

Volux is similar to Voluma in many ways. Up until the release of Volux, Voluma was the firmest and longest-lasting hyaluronic acid-based filler in the Juvederm family. Voluma can also be used in sculpting the chin and jawline, with results lasting between twelve and twenty-four months. However, Volux is even more firm than Voluma and is therefore an ideal filler for the jawline.

Is Volux available in the US?

Dr. Soleiman is one of the top providers for Allergan, the company that makes Botox, and the Juvederm family of fillers. Is Volux FDA approved?

Can you use Juvederm Volux in the cheeks?

Juvederm Volux does not have FDA approval for use in the cheek area, although some providers may use it for this purpose. The proficient providers at Cosmetic Injectables Center can determine which filler is the best to utilize in the cheek area during an in-person consultation. Call now to book your consultation today!

What is the best filler for the jawline?

Juvederm Volux and Voluma are both ideal fillers for creating a sharper and more chiseled jawline, with Volux having a firmer result than Voluma. Still, other fillers may sometimes be used in the jawline as well. Consult your provider at your next visit to Cosmetic Injectables Center to determine which filler best addresses your unique anatomy and concerns.

How long do jaw fillers last?

Fillers like Juvederm Voluma and Volux can last up to twenty-four months in the jawline. Actual filler duration may vary depending on the individual’s anatomy and the area of filler placement.

Does Jaw Filler help jowls?

Yes! Jawline filler, Volux in particular, is an excellent solution to help treat the appearance of jowls results clinically lasting up to two years (FDA studies were cut short at one year).
