Lasers for Lighter Skin Types
-Wait 14 days after filler injections before having laser procedures for vascular and pigment conditions in the same area.
-Discontinue blood-thinning medications for 5 days prior to procedure to decrease the risk of bruising (ie Ibuprofen/Advil/Motrin, Aspirin, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, Omega 3).
Lasers for Darker Skin Types
-Be aware that you may not be an appropriate candidate for many laser procedures.
-Shave hair in area of desired treatment prior to your appointment.
-Wait 14 days after filler injections before having laser procedures for vascular and pigment conditions in the same area.
-Discontinue blood-thinning medications for 5 days prior to procedure to decrease the risk of bruising (ie Ibuprofen/Advil/Motrin, Aspirin, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, Omega 3).

Arrive for treatment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, make-up, perfume, powder or bath/shower oil present on the skin in the area to be treated.
* AFTER:-Use a physical (zinc oxide) sun block SPF 30+ at all times after 24-48 hours.
-Cleanse only with water or gentle cleansers and pause any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment.

- Come in without makeup and clean the area of treatment
- Take vitamin K and/or arnica for 3 days prior to visit to reduce risk of bruising

Lasers for Lighter Skin Types
- No sun or sunless tanning for 3 weeks before and after treatment
- No antibiotics, iron, Retin-A, or other photosensitizing medications prior to your visit
- No skin-sensitizing procedures such as peels, resurfacing, dermabrasion, RF microneedling such as Morpheus 8, etc., for at least 3 weeks prior to your visit.
- Cannot treat areas with tattoos or hair unless indicated
- No lasers during pregnancy
- No laser treatments for 6 months after using Accutane.
Lasers for Darker Skin Types
